The Foton eAuman is an 18-ton battery-electric truck built for businesses that require heavy-duty capability, strong electric performance and flexible body configurations.

Its 4×2 cab-and-chassis platform combines a 282 kWh CATL LFP battery, dual-motor direct drive and electric power take-off to support demanding commercial operations.

The eAuman’s dual-motor direct-drive system delivers 380 kW of maximum power and 5,000 Nm of maximum torque, providing strong response when moving off under load and across demanding commercial routes.

Range and Charging

Powered by a 282 kWh CATL lithium iron phosphate battery, the eAuman offers an estimated driving range of up to 260 km. With DC charging at up to 250 kW, the battery can charge from 20% to 80% in approximately 36 minutes under suitable conditions.

Is the eAuman eligible for government support?

The eAuman may be eligible for the $40,000 Heavy Vehicle Zero Emissions Scheme incentive, subject to prevailing LTA conditions, and paid out in 3 tranches.

Can the eAuman support a refrigerated body or tailgate?

The eAuman includes an electric power take-off system (ePTO), which supports additional builds. Compatibility depends on the body and equipment’s technical requirements and must be assessed before installation.
